Most of the elders were healthy and active, though a couple of them had age-related problems like diabetes and hypertension, for which the visiting doctor prescribes the medicines, which are supplied free. For the entertainment of the inmates, the Home has provided a common TV, newspapers, etc. The garden outside enables some of the healthy elders in watering the plants and maintaining the garden. Thus the elderly inmates enjoy a homely life away from their homes, The Home is located in a good locality, and is well known to the local people who appreciate the services being rendered here. We hope that we would continue to get the support of the Government for this valuable venture.
